Job summary

Streets is a modern accountancy practice with 40 UK offices. We are seeking an experienced Accounts Semi-Senior to prepare year-end accounts for a varied client base and work closely with clients and colleagues.

You will deliver high-quality financial statements, draft tax computations, and VAT returns, with hybrid working after probation and full professional training support.

Qualifications

• Experience in General Practice accounting.
• Knowledge of accounting standards is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Semi-Senior to join our team. You will work closely with clients and colleagues alike, preparing year end accounts for a varied client base.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
• Liaise with clients to resolve queries in a timely and professional manner.
• Complete all assignments within the allocated budget and on time.
• Produce draft tax computations for clients.
• Produce year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies in accordance with the relevant accounting standards.
• Prepare schedules for tax returns.
• Complete VAT returns.

Qualifications & Experience

• AAT Qualified, with optional progression to ACA or ACCA.
• Previous experience gained within General Practice.
• Knowledge of accounting standards would be an advantage.
