Job summary

Confidential is seeking an Accounts Receivable Administrator to join the finance team in Hessle. The role focuses on managing a defined book of debtor accounts, contacting customers to secure payment, and supporting credit checks for new customers, with opportunities to assist across finance tasks as needed.

You will work closely with Sales and Customer Services to resolve queries and ensure timely cash flow, contributing to a dynamic, supportive finance function within a growing company.

Qualifications

• Experience in credit control / accounts receivable in a finance team.
• Good IT literacy and MS Office skills.
• Strong numeracy and literacy abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support company credit control for own debt ledger.
• Contact debtors by email, letter, and phone to secure payment of invoices.
• Support credit checks for new customers and opening new credit accounts.
• Resolve issues in credit control and provide copy invoices or proof of delivery as needed.
• Collaborate with Sales and Customer Services to resolve queries and progress matters.
