Job summary

Scientific Laboratory Supplies (SLS) is seeking an Accounts Receivable Administrator to join our Hessle finance team. Based in Hessle, HU13, the role focuses on supporting the busy credit control function and ensuring timely payments while collaborating across Sales, Customer Services and Finance.

The successful candidate will have experience in credit control, strong numeracy and IT skills. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive salary and benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience in credit control / accounts receivable functions.
• Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
• Good IT literacy and data entry accuracy.
• Able to communicate effectively with colleagues, customers and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Take proactive role in managing and supporting company credit control.
• Contact debtors via email, letters, and telephone to collect payments.
• Support credit checking for new customers and opening accounts.
• Resolve problems in credit control including copy invoices and proofs of delivery.
• Collaborate with Sales and Customer Services to resolve queries.
• Report to Accounts Office Manager on outstanding issues.
• Maintain the 'slsledger' inbox and route enquiries to Finance and other departments.
• Maintain financial system records and data entry.
• Perform general clerical duties as needed.
