Breedon Group plc is recruiting a Senior Accounts Payable Assistant to lead a team of up to six in the Accounts Payable function at Lockington, Derbyshire. You will oversee invoice processing, vendor queries, and ensure timely, accurate payment activities across multiple entities.

The role requires knowledge of P2P and three-way matching, with opportunities for development and system improvements as the department evolves.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the P2P process and three-way matching
• Experience leading a team preferred but development provided
• Good teamwork and a can-do attitude
• Strong attention to detail and problem solving

Responsibilities

• Lead a team to ensure invoices and credit notes are processed accurately
• Reconcile supplier accounts monthly
• Resolve supplier queries and escalate exceptions per SLAs
• Maintain OCR-driven processes and ensure KPI targets
