Consultant - Transactional Finance | Market Research, Lead Generation

Position: Accounts Payable Team-Leader - £37,000 + Bonus - Hybrid

About the Role:

This position is responsible for leading a team of Accounts Payable Analysts and ensuring timely and accurate supplier payments. You will oversee weekly supplier payment runs, ensure supplier statements are reconciled with payment dates, and manage inbound queries in line with SLAs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of Accounts Payable Analysts.
• Implement and support the accounts payable strategy.
• Oversee all aspects of transactional processing within the accounts payable team.
• Drive productivity and meet service delivery goals in line with KPIs.
• Work closely with the Accounts Payable Manager to identify and drive process improvements.
• Serve as the senior escalation point for complex or unresolved issues.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to monitor performance and resolve issues impacting productivity and accuracy.
• Assist with audit processes.
• Identify and communicate risks or issues to the team, management, and key stakeholders.
• Coach, train, and motivate the team to achieve their full potential.
