Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join a busy finance team on a full-time, permanent basis. This role focuses on accurate supplier invoice processing, ledger maintenance and strong supplier relationships within a collaborative environment.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in accounts payable, excellent Excel skills and familiarity with accounting systems. Hybrid working with 3-4 days in the office and a competitive salary in the £26,500–£29,000 range

Qualifications

• At least 3 years' experience in Accounts Payable.
• Strong Excel skills and confidence with financial data.
• Experience using finance or accounting systems.
• Methodical approach with high accuracy.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices end-to-end with accuracy.
• Maintain supplier accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Reconcile statements and address outstanding items.
• Support payment runs and cashflow activities.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Assist month-end close and financial reporting.
• Maintain high standards of financial records.
• Provide general finance department support.
