Job summary

A boutique Real Estate Investment Manager seeks an Accounts Payable Specialist in London. In this newly created role, you'll handle all AP & AR functions, report directly to the Finance Director, and contribute to budgeting and cashflow forecasting. Ideal candidates have 5-7+ years of relevant experience in a similar setting.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years experience in Accounts Payable.
• Experience running the AP function from start to finish.
• Experience with Funds AP and in Investment Management or Real Estate Funds.

The Role: Accounts Payable Specialist

The Location: London City Centre (5 days in office)

This is a newly created position to join a boutique Real Estate Investment Manager as the sole AP person. This role is reporting directly to the Finance Director and will have ownership of all AP & AR parts of the business.

The Role:

• Process all specified department supplier invoices in accordance with company policies
• Reconcile all relevant accounts payable
• Monitor and manage outstanding accounts, proactively following up on overdue invoices
• Processing all specified finance department fee invoices
• Monitor & manage outstanding fee accounts
• Assist in preparing annual budgets and cashflow forecasting
• Getting involved in several projects, assisting & developing for new department processes

Prior Experience:

• 5-7+ years experience in Accounts Payable
• Experience running the AP function from start to finish in prior roles (ideally for a smaller firm)
• Experience with Funds AP
• Prior experience within Investment Management or Real Estate Funds
• Strong communication skills and attention detail.
