Job summary

Essential Employment seeks a Joint Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Team Lead for a hybrid role based across Guildford and Godalming, with a minimum of two office days per week. You will lead AP/AR specialists, supervise workload, allocate resources, and drive continuous improvement across the collaboration.

The role covers governance, VAT/CIS considerations, and monthly/year-end close, with attendance at both sites and regular reporting to the AP/AR Manager.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and supervising AP/AR teams.
• Ability to deputise for AP/AR Manager and drive process improvements.
• Strong governance, compliance, and KPI ownership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage AP/AR specialists to ensure high performance and service delivery.
• Deputise for AP/AR Manager and optimise team capacity and workflow.
• Oversee month-end and year-end procedures for ledgers and control accounts.
