Job summary

Northamptonshire Healthcare Foundation Trust is seeking an Accounts Payable Assistant based at St Mary's Hospital in Kettering. The role involves inputting invoices and credit notes, reconciling supplier statements, and handling queries by phone or email within a supportive finance team.

You will work to BPPC guidelines, support budget managers, and contribute to an efficient purchase ledger. Ideal candidates will have customer service experience and a basic understanding of finance and purchase

Qualifications

• IT literate with experience using Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Experience using a finance system and basic Purchase Ledger knowledge.
• Customer service experience and ability to work in a finance role.

Responsibilities

• Input invoices and credit notes onto the ledger.
• Reconcile supplier statements and respond to queries by phone or email.
• Build relationships with suppliers and budget managers within the organisation.
• Ensure invoices are processed in line with BPPC guidelines; work in a small team.
