Qualifications

• Previous SAP experience is essential.
• Previous experience in a purchase ledger or accounts payable.
• Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Good numeracy skills and confidence working with financial information.

• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• A proactive approach, with the ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Processing and checking supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and correct authorisation.
• Matching invoices against relevant documentation and resolving any discrepancies.
• Liaising with internal departments to obtain invoice approvals and resolve queries.
• Acting as a key point of contact for suppliers regarding payment queries and account issues.
• Completing supplier statement reconciliations and investigating any differences.
• Supporting the preparation and processing of supplier payments.
• Managing urgent payment requests when required.
• Maintaining accurate, up-to-date financial records and supporting the wider finance team with general administrative duties.
