2020 Recruitment Limited is working with an established engineering and manufacturing business in Glenrothes to recruit an experienced Accounts Payable / Purchase Ledger Assistant. You will manage supplier accounts, process invoices, match against orders and Goods Received Notes, and prepare payment runs, including BACS, ensuring accuracy and timely reconciliations.

This permanent role offers £30,000 to £34,000 per annum, depending on experience, and requires organised, detail‑oriented

Qualifikationen

• Experience in purchase ledger and accounts payable.
• Ability to match invoices against purchase orders and Goods Received Notes.
• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Experience using ERP software and Microsoft Excel.

Aufgaben

• Process purchase invoices and match against PO and GRN.
• Maintain accurate supplier accounts and ledger records.
• Set up new suppliers and keep account information up to date.
• Reconcile supplier statements and investigate discrepancies.
• Prepare supplier payment runs (BACS and other payments).
