Job summary

Igne Group Limited is seeking an experienced Accounts Supervisor to lead the Accounts Payable and banking functions from our Ross-on-Wye base. You will contribute to building a centralised Finance function, develop the team, and drive best practice across transactional finance.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, the role focuses on delivering accurate payments, robust controls, and continuous improvement within a growing, multi-site business.

Qualifications

• Experienced finance professional with supervisory experience.
• Strong understanding of transactional finance, including AP, AR, credit control and banking.
• Advanced Excel and ERP systems proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead, support and develop the Accounts Payable and banking team, including onboarding and integrating new team members.
• Help establish and embed a high-performing transactional finance function within a centralised operating model.
• Oversee day-to-day transactional finance activities with accuracy and efficiency.
• Ensure timely processing of supplier payments, sales invoicing, customer receipts, expenses and banking transactions.
• Manage reconciliations, controls, audit trails and compliance with policies.
• Produce KPI reporting, management information and performance updates for leadership.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities.
• Drive continuous improvement across finance processes, systems and controls.
• Support finance transformation and wider business projects.
