The Landing Gear Market specializes in the design, qualification, manufacture, repair, and overhaul of landing gears and flight-critical components for a customer base that includes OEMs and operators in both commercial and military markets.

Summary of position:

Are you an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk with high attention to detail and superb organizational skills? Héroux-Devtek is looking for an enthusiastic professional to support their busy Finance Team as an Accounts Payable Clerk at their head office in Runcorn, Cheshire.

Role responsibilities:

• Monitoring and maintaining the AP Email Inbox
• Data entry into Infor LN Computer System
• Matching and coding invoices
• Reconciling statements
• Requesting copy invoices via telephone or email
• Maintaining data on Excel spreadsheets
• Processing Debit Notes for supplier returns
• Monitoring and maintaining the GRNI Ledger
• Producing BACS runs and manual payments
• Supporting colleagues with tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years proven experience in a busy accounts department maintaining a purchase ledger
• High numeracy and attention to detail
• Good IT skills, especially Microsoft Excel
• Methodical, self-starter, accurate, and timely data entry skills
• Strong professional communication skills
• Good organizational and prioritization skills
• Ability to work independently
• Experience in manufacturing is desirable but not essential
