Job Description

Bunzl UK & Ireland supplies over 100,000 products through specialist distribution businesses, including food packaging, disposables, catering equipment, healthcare consumables, and cleaning and safety products. Our clients include supermarkets, retailers, hotels, restaurants, caterers, construction companies, healthcare providers, and other sectors.

We are seeking professionals with a good knowledge of Accounts Payable to join Bunzl's team. The successful candidate will manage the Accounts Payable process, input data accurately for purchase and expense invoices, reconcile supplier accounts, handle queries, and arrange payments.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate price and quantity discrepancies
• Receive, scan, record supplier and intercompany invoices, match invoices to orders, and post to supplier accounts
• Manage purchase invoice and payment queries promptly, update tickets, liaise with suppliers, and seek resolutions
• Generate payment runs and raise manual payments as needed
• Perform monthly and ad-hoc supplier statement reconciliations
• Set up and maintain supplier accounts
• Record purchase card spend and perform reconciliations
• Identify recurring issues and suggest process improvements to management
• Support other Accounts Payable and Purchase to Pay activities
