YOUR ROLE

This is a pivotal position within our Property Finance department, where you'll take ownership of TSP's accounts payable function while leading a small but essential team. Working in our Tottenham Court Road office (3:2) flexibility, you'll be the guardian of our financial processes - ensuring every pound flows through our systems with precision and purpose.

You'll be joining a company that's growing rapidly, with nearly 30% business growth in recent years and an expanding portfolio that includes some of London's most innovative workspace projects. This isn't just about processing invoices; you're helping to fuel the financial engine of a company that's reshaping how commercial property works.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

We're seeking someone with:
  • Proven accounts payable experience with demonstrable expertise in high-volume invoice processing. 5+ years experience would be preferred.
  • Team leadership capabilities - you'll be managing one direct report and building processes that scale with our growth
  • AAT qualification (completed or in progress) preferred, though exceptional candidates without formal qualifications will be considered
  • Strong system proficiency, ideally including QUBE Global Software experience or similar property management systems
  • Analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail - essential when managing complex property transactions
  • Professional communication skills for liaising with contractors, tenants, and internal stakeholders
  • Problem-solving attitude that aligns with our innovative culture

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Financial Process Management:
  • Oversee end-to-end accounts payable operations for our diverse property portfolio
  • Process and approve invoices related to property management, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Manage supplier relationships and resolve complex invoice queries with contractors and service providers
Team Leadership:
  • Supervise and develop one direct report, fostering their professional growth
  • Implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and accuracy
  • Ensure knowledge sharing and backup coverage across the team
  • Contribute to department-wide initiatives and financial reporting
Other Core Duties
  • Compliance Management: Ensure all payments comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies
  • Vendor Management: Maintain accurate supplier databases and manage onboarding of new contractors
  • Reporting: Prepare regular accounts payable reports and KPI tracking for senior management and quarterly client statements.
  • Process Documentation: Create and maintain procedure manuals to support business continuity
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Property Management and Investment teams on portfolio-specific requirements
  • Sustainability Reporting: Contribute to ESG reporting requirements aligned with our B Corp commitments.
  • Performing monthly bank reconciliations
