Spirax Group in Cheltenham is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Administrator on a 4-month FTC to support the Finance function with supplier invoices, payments and supplier records.

The role demands accurate data entry, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work to deadlines, delivering timely reconciliations and responsive service to internal customers.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrable experience working in a similar accounting role.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with ability to work independently to deadlines.

  • Confident and pro-active in dealing with key internal customers and suppliers.
  • Proficiency with Excel and other MS Office programs.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

  • Processing invoices and credit notes in a timely manner.
  • Dealing with supplier queries.
  • Chasing suppliers for copy invoices, proof of deliveries and statements.
  • Reconciling supplier statements.
  • Liaising with Central Finance regarding payments to suppliers.
  • Maintenance of changes in supplier details.
  • Setting up new suppliers and carrying out due diligence checks.
  • Reviewing the aged creditors report on a monthly basis.
  • Other ad hoc duties to support Accounts Payable and Supply Finance teams.

Accounts Payable Administrator (4 months FTC)

This is currently a 4-monthfixed term contract for 20 hours per week.

Role Overview:

An excitingopportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounts Payable Administrator tojoin our team. The main purpose of this role will involve providingadministrative & transactional support to this busy Finance function toensure supplier expectations and business requirements are met to the higheststandard.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, theresponsibilities of the role include (but are not limited to);
  • Processing invoices and credit notes in a timely manner.
  • Dealing with supplier queries
  • Chasing suppliers for copy invoices, proof of deliveries & statements.
  • Reconciling supplier statements.
  • Liaising with our Central Finance department regarding payments to suppliers.
  • Maintenance of changes in supplier details.
  • Setting up new suppliers and carrying out due diligence checks.
  • Reviewing the aged creditors report on a monthly basis.
  • Other ad hoc duties to assist the Accounts Payable & Supply Finance teams as and when needed.
