Job summary

Spirax-Sarco Engineering is seeking an Assembly Operator at its Cheltenham site. The role involves welding, assembling, testing and packaging to SOPs, with emphasis on meeting quality, cost and time targets.

You will operate within a team, follow EHS practices, contribute to 5S, and engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and product quality.

Qualifications

• Experience in a production setting is preferred.
• Basic literacy and numeracy; ability to read SOPs.

Assembly Operator

Role Overview: The Assembly Operator will weld, assemble, test and package products following standard operating procedures to meet quality, cost and time standards.

Your objectives and responsibilities will focus on…

• Understanding an complying with Company Environmental, Health and Safety practices (EHS), identifying areas for improvement and supporting related initiatives
• Promoting and improving work area through 5S activity
• Completing Quality System transactions and Production System Transactions
• Meeting on time delivery by organising yourself and colleagues to effectively complete plan
• Engage, suggesting and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and projects

Your previous experience is likely to include….

• Working within a production environment
• Basic working computer skills
• Growing an understanding of your role and it’s commercial and quality impact on the department
