JTC Group in Jersey is seeking an Accounts Payable professional to join the Group Finance Team. The role focuses on creditor processes, supplier inquiries, and comprehensive bookkeeping across all Group entities.

The successful candidate will manage supplier accounts, reconcile statements, and ensure compliance with AML and regulatory requirements while maintaining high accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

• Reconcile credit card transactions.
• Ensure compliance with AML and regulatory requirements.
• Adhere to CPD requirements.
• Support management with additional duties as needed.

Therole is aligned and sits within the Group Finance Team based in Jersey. Therole holder will be responsible for a variety of internal finance andaccounting tasks, the primary responsibilities of this role are focused aroundAccounts Payable and bookkeeping tasks for all Group entities.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Ownership of monthly creditor processes such as monitoring supplier inboxes. Distributing invoices for approval and dealing with ad hoc queries from suppliers.
• Reconciliation of supplier statements back to aged creditor listings.
• Bookkeeping of ad-hoc payments.
• Bookkeeping and reconciliation of registry transactions.
• Bookkeeping of petty cash transactions.
• Bookkeeping of employee expense claims.
• Ownership of the supplier accounts on Viewpoint and being the contact for new supplier requests from overseas offices.
• Bookkeeping and reconciliation of Credit Cards.
• Adhere to Risk & Associated Compliance procedures in relation to regulatory requirements and AML legislation.
• Adhere to CPD requirements in accordance with qualification level and in-house procedures.
• Adhere to the JTC core values and expected behaviours.
• Any other duties as deemed necessary by Management.
