• Minimum 2 years' experience in a UK accountancy practice.
• Experience in accounts preparation and client management.
• ACA/ACCA or equivalent qualification; part-qualified considered with strong experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied portfolio of limited companies, SMEs and owner-managed businesses.
• Prepare and review statutory accounts and management accounts.
• Review VAT returns and other compliance work.
• Maintain strong client relationships and provide proactive accounting advice.
• Review work by junior team members and ensure deadlines.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and add value for clients.
