You will manage a diverse client portfolio, deliver high-quality accounting services, and strengthen client relationships while guiding junior staff. UK accounting standards and tax knowledge are essential, with a view to career progression in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years' experience working within an accountancy practice.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge.
• Experience preparing accounts for a variety of clients.
• Good knowledge of UK accounting standards and tax requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Strong communication and client relationship skills.
• AAT, ACCA or ACA qualification, or be qualified by experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare year-end accounts for a range of clients (limited companies, sole traders, partnerships).
• Prepare management accounts and financial information.
• Support clients with tax compliance and general accounting matters.
• Prepare VAT returns and other financial submissions.
• Manage client deadlines and ensure timely delivery.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Provide accounting advice and identify value-adding opportunities.
• Review work and support junior teammates.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-quality client service.
