Our client is a well-established Chartered Certified accountancy practice with a proud heritage spanning over 60 years located in South Cambridgeshire. Reed Practice has partnered exclusively with the Principal Partner to recruit an experienced Accounts Manager.

This is a client management role, not a people management position, ideal for someone who enjoys building strong client relationships and delivering high-quality accounting and tax services.

Qualifications

• Qualified in AAT/ACA/ACCA.
• Experience in an accountancy practice.
• Experience with FRS 102 and FRS 105.
• Experience preparing personal and corporate tax returns.
• Excellent client-facing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact for a portfolio of clients, maintaining strong relationships.
• Prepare statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
• Produce accounts under FRS 102 and FRS 105.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns.
• Liaise with clients and HMRC to resolve queries.
• Prepare personal and corporate tax returns.
• Support bookkeeping and production of management accounts.
