Clark Wood are recruiting for an Accounts Manager to join a highly respected firm of Chartered Accountants in Stratford-upon-Avon. The role will suit an ACA/ACCA qualified or QBE candidate with strong practice experience and a track record in managing client portfolios.

The position offers a £55,000 - £70,000 salary with hybrid working, a generous holiday allowance, a company pension, and genuine career progression.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA qualified or QBE.
• Experience in accountancy practice required.
• Strong statutory accounts and UK GAAP knowledge.
• Excellent communication and client management skills.
• Ability to manage portfolios and deadlines effectively.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of owner-managed businesses, SMEs, partnerships and limited companies.
• Review statutory accounts and UK GAAP.
• Review management accounts and financial reporting.
• Review corporation tax computations.
• Be the main client contact and provide accounting advice.
• Manage client deadlines, workflow and budgets.
• Review work by Accounts Seniors and junior staff.
• Support and develop junior team members.

Clark Wood are recruiting for an Accounts Manager to join a highly respected firm of Chartered Accountants in Stratford-upon-Avon.

This role would suit an Accounts Manager, Client Manager, Accounts Assistant Manager or Senior Accountant with strong practice experience looking for progression.

The Role

• Managing a portfolio of owner-managed businesses, SMEs, partnerships and limited companies
• Reviewing statutory accounts and UK GAAP
• Reviewing management accounts and financial reporting
• Reviewing corporation tax computations
• Acting as the main client contact and providing accounting advice
• Managing client deadlines, workflow and budgets
• Reviewing work completed by Accounts Seniors and junior staff
• Supporting and developing junior team members

The Person

• ACA / ACCA qualified or QBE
• Previous accountancy practice experience
• Experience managing a portfolio of clients
• Strong statutory accounts and UK GAAP knowledge
• Excellent communication and client management skills
• Able to manage workloads and deadlines effectively
