Job description

Description: FJA is looking to recruit an Accounts Manager on behalf of our client based in the Warrington area (flexible and hybrid working available).

The role is available due to continued growth in their client base across various industries and sectors in the North-West. As an Accounts Manager, you will join a talented team to manage a portfolio of non-audit clients.

Responsibilities of the Accounts Manager:
  • Managing a client portfolio, reporting to partners and directors
  • Reviewing statutory year-end accounts
  • Coordinating with clients on account arrangements
  • Briefing and supervising staff, providing on-the-job training, liaising with client staff
  • Identifying and resolving account issues in collaboration with clients and partners
  • Participating in accounts planning and closing meetings
  • Involvement in recruitment and business development
Experience and qualification requirements:

Applicants should be ACA or ACCA qualified and demonstrate:

  • A proven track record of managing a portfolio of non-audit clients
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • IT literacy and proficiency with accounting software
  • Self-motivated with a proactive attitude towards learning and development
  • Experience coaching junior staff on-site
