Accounts Executive - Bristol

First Military Recruitment is currently recruiting for an Accounts Executive on behalf of our specialist independent wall and floor tile client based in Bristol. This is an excellent and exciting opportunity to join a rapidly expanding retail business with significant career advancement prospects.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Handle and develop incoming orders with existing customers to maximize sales.
  2. Manage incoming new business leads.
  3. Generate and quote project leads from new and existing customers.
  4. Support field staff and showrooms by quoting with appropriate margins, finding alternative products, and answering technical queries.
  5. Build strong relationships with customers and showroom staff to establish and maintain a position as a trusted advisor.
  6. Highlight and promote new products and ranges, including trade promotions, to customers.
  7. Support internet sales, product setups, and other shared tasks during holidays.
  8. Keep customer house builder specifications up to date.
  9. Maintain the price matrix on the ERP system.
  10. Troubleshoot and find solutions for operational distribution issues.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • At least 12 months experience in the building/KBB industry, ideally in a sales role.
  • Technical proficiency with computer systems, preferably Microsoft Office.
  • Thorough understanding of the company's full product range.
  • Knowledge of the KBB/building industry and competitors.
  • Understanding of the company's procedures and policies.
  • Proactive in increasing technical expertise through research.
  • Comprehensive understanding of company operations.
