You will manage credit control, invoicing, reconciliations and ledger activities to keep accounts accurate and payments on track. The successful candidate will work independently in a small team, taking responsibility for a varied range of accounts tasks and ensuring

Qualifications

• Previous experience in credit control, bookkeeping, accounts administration or a similar all-round accounts role.
• Good understanding of bookkeeping principles, ledgers, payments and reconciliations.
• Experience chasing outstanding debts and communicating with customers about payments.

Responsibilities

• Credit Control & Debt Recovery: monitor invoices, follow up overdue payments and liaise with customers.
• Sales Ledger & Customer Accounts: process payments, reconcile accounts and statements.
• Banking & Reconciliation: monitor payments, balance the online ledger and record transactions.
• New Account Applications: review credit applications, assess creditworthiness and set up accounts.
• Order Deposits: identify when deposits are required and secure payments per terms.
• Purchase Ledger & Procurement: manage supplier invoices and keep records accurate.
