JAM Recruitment Ltd in Torquay are recruiting an Accounts Coordinator/Manager for a permanent, full-time role. Salary £30,000–£35,000 per annum.

You will oversee day-to-day financial operations, including payroll, CIS and VAT submissions, valuations and payment applications, plus invoicing and ledgers. We are looking for an organised professional with hands-on accounts experience in maintenance, construction or property services.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance, construction, property services or similar industry.
• Payroll, CIS, VAT, invoicing and year-end support.
• Confident managing multiple areas of the accounts function.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounts function.
• Process and manage payroll.
• Prepare and submit CIS returns.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns.
• Manage valuations and payment applications.
• Raise and process invoices.
• Support year-end accounts and liaise with external accountants.
• Manage purchase and sales ledgers.
• Reconcile bank, supplier and customer accounts.
• Monitor outstanding payments and assist credit control.
• Process subcontractor payments and CIS compliance.
• Maintain accurate financial records and general admin.
• Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, clients and external accountants.
