Job summary

SI Recruitment Limited seeks an experienced Accounts & Audit Senior to join its Leeds team. You will manage a portfolio of privately owned clients, delivering a broad range of accounts and tax services.

The role involves preparing statutory accounts, VAT returns, management accounts, and liaising with HMRC and Companies House. You will mentor juniors and contribute to client onboarding and business development.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA qualified or QBE with strong practice experience.
• Experience managing your own client portfolio.
• Strong technical accounts preparation and tax knowledge.
• Excellent client service and communication skills.
• Organised with strong attention to detail and proactive.
• Audit experience is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of privately owned clients and provide accounts and tax services.
• Prepare statutory accounts and tax computations for various entities.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns.
• Produce management accounts and client reporting.
• Maintain relationships with HMRC and Companies House.
• Support and supervise junior team members.
• Assist with onboarding and new business development.
• Provide proactive commercial and accounting advice.
