Pro Talent in Penzance, Cornwall is seeking an Accounts and Audit Semi-Senior to join a growing practice. You'll work across accounts prep, audit, VAT and tax for a varied client base, with close supervision from managers and partners.

If you’re AAT qualified or studying ACA/ACCA, this role offers broad grounding with on-site client visits and the opportunity to develop quickly in a supportive, local firm backed by a national group.

Qualifications

• AAT qualified or ACA/ACCA student is preferred.
• Experience in accounts and bookkeeping across varied clients.
• Good knowledge of VAT, MTD, and audits.
• UK driving licence helpful for client visits.

Responsibilities

• Prepare statutory and management accounts.
• Assist with audits from planning through to completion.
• Prepare VAT returns in Xero, Sage and QuickBooks.
• Handle self-assessment and tax computations.
• Assist with Companies House filings and secretarial work.
• Support clients with software on site.
• Take on ad hoc projects.
