Job summary

Space 8 Recruitment are supporting a Coventry-based client to recruit a Client Manager (hybrid). This established accountancy practice serves a 3,000-strong client base across the UK, with hybrid working offering 2 days at home.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualification (or equivalent) required.
• Approximately 4–5 years' post-qualification experience.
• Experience managing a portfolio of clients within an accountancy practice.
• Strong technical knowledge of UK accounts and tax compliance.
• Audit experience, including planning and reviewing assignments.

The Role:

• Managing a portfolio of owner-managed businesses, companies, charities and other clients, you will act as the primary point of contact, providing proactive support and advice.
• Plan, manage and review audit assignments
• Review statutory accounts prepared under relevant UK accounting frameworks.
• Monitor portfolio profitability, work-in-progress and billing.
• Ensure assignments are completed accurately and within agreed deadlines.
• Supervise, mentor and develop junior team members.
• Identify opportunities to provide additional value-added services to clients.

What are we looking for?

• ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent).
• Approximately 4-5 years' post-qualification experience.
• Experience managing a portfolio of clients within an accountancy practice.
• Strong technical knowledge of UK accounts and tax compliance.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
• Audit experience, including planning and reviewing audit assignments.
• Experience supervising and developing staff.
