Job summary

Space 8 Recruitment are supporting a Coventry-based client to recruit an Audit Manager. The role involves managing a portfolio of owner-managed businesses, charities and other clients, and planning, managing and reviewing audit assignments.

You will review statutory accounts under UK frameworks, monitor profitability and billing, ensure deadlines are met, and supervise junior staff while identifying value-added opportunities. Hybrid working available.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA qualification or equivalent is required.
• Strong technical knowledge of UK accounts and tax compliance.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of owner-managed businesses, charities and other clients.
• Plan, manage and review audit assignments.
• Review statutory accounts prepared under UK frameworks.
• Monitor profitability, WIP and billing for the portfolio.
• Ensure assignments are completed accurately and on time.
• Supervise and develop junior team members.
