Cambridge Accountants is seeking an Accounts Assistant / Semi Senior Accountant to join a modern firm in Cambridge. The role offers exposure to accounts preparation, tax, VAT, MTD, audit and service charge accounts, with tailored opportunities based on experience.

The firm supports development across service areas with training and study support, and a hybrid working arrangement with flexibility to grow within practice.

Qualifications

• Open to candidates from AAT to ACCA levels, with training provided.
• Exposure to accounts preparation, tax, VAT, MTD and service charge work.
• Opportunity to gain experience across service charge accounts with training.

Responsabilités

• Bookkeeping for a range of clients.
• Prepare VAT returns and support MTD requirements.
• Assist with accounts preparation from initial records to draft accounts.
• Prepare personal and corporation tax returns.
• Assist with audit work (depending on experience).
• Support with service charge accounts and related work.
• Liaise with clients to obtain information and resolve queries.
• Support clients with general accounting and compliance matters.
• Develop knowledge across different areas of accountancy and take on more responsibilities as experience grows.
