Persimmon Homes is recruiting an Accounts Assistant to join our busy Accounts team. The role will involve purchase ledger duties, managing subcontractor accounts, and supporting the Finance Manager in multiple day-to-day tasks.

The ideal candidate will have experience in accounting, familiarity with CIS, and strong Excel skills, with an organised, diligent approach to work under pressure. This is a great opportunity within Persimmon.

Competenze

• Experience in a similar accounting role.
• Working towards an accounting qualification is beneficial.
• Experience with purchase ledgers and CIS is advantageous.

Mansioni

• Process all purchase invoices and obtain approval for payment.
• Carry out supplier statement reconciliations.
• Compile monthly payment runs and ensure invoices are uploaded.
• Verify new sub-contractors in line with CIS standards and manage monthly CIS returns.
• Handle supplier queries by phone and email.
• Perform other accounting duties as required by the Finance Manager.
