Accounts Assistant - Music

Handle Recruitment are working alongside an amazing music management company in recruiting an Accounts Assistant to work in their team. Working in a great environment, this is a broad role reporting to and supporting the finance team. You will be joining a growing team at an exciting time for the business.

Key responsibilities:

1. Tracking artists spend and revenue for post month end review
2. Posting sales invoices
3. Chasing overdue debts
4. Regular reconciliation of customer accounts
5. Perform data entry and maintain financial records in the company's accounting software, ensuring accuracy and completeness
6. Collaborate with other departments to provide financial information and support
7. Opportunity to support the production team
8. Assist with ad hoc financial and business analysis
9. Assisting with year-end audit and royalty runs

Desired skills:

1. Able to demonstrate experience of working in a Finance department to tight deadlines in a busy working environment
2. Intermediate Excel is essential
3. Good grasp of general accounting procedures
4. Experience of liaising with staff outside of the finance team, at all levels, to resolve issues and effectively relay information

2. Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
3. Excellent communication and teamwork skills
4. Highly motivated

The ideal candidate must have had some experience in working within a finance function and office environment. Computer literacy should include an excellent working knowledge of Excel.
