Job summary

Tamfol in the United Kingdom is seeking a Finance Assistant to support the sales and purchase ledgers, process invoices in Sage, and maintain accurate records across the finance function.

You will provide cover for payroll ad-hoc tasks, handle supplier/customer queries, and contribute to reporting and analysis using Excel. A competent candidate will be reliable, detail-focused, and able to work with internal controls.

Qualifications

• Experience with ledger processing and supplier/customer invoicing.
• Familiarity with payroll administration is a plus.
• Proficient in Excel and Word, and accurate data entry.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all aspects of Sales and Purchase Ledger with accuracy.
• Process supplier and customer invoices in Sage and post to the nominal ledger.
• Investigate discrepancies and resolve queries promptly.
• Support reporting and labour hour analyses as needed.
