Job summary

Four Jays Group is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join the finance team at Barling Farm, Maidstone. The role covers invoicing, purchase ledger and assisting with month-end processes to support Heathcote Holdings’ integrated waste management services.

We value proactive communication and strong Word/Excel/Outlook skills. Desirable experience with Xero and plant hire software, plus the ability to work independently in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with MS Word, Excel and Outlook is essential.
• Experience using accounting software improves efficiency and accuracy.
• Ability to work on own initiative and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Invoicing daily, weekly and monthly using MCS software.
• Assist credit controller with debt collection and accounting tasks.
• Reconcile cash and ensure accurate input of purchase invoices.
• Liaise closely with hire desk and support month-end journals.
• Manage company credit card reconciliations and other group tasks as needed.
