Job summary

Macildowie is recruiting an Accounts Assistant for a well-established professional services organisation in Leamington Spa. The role is hands-on across transactional finance, banking, reconciliations and the purchase ledger, reporting to the Head of Accounts.

You should be numerate and accurate, with prior experience in accounts or transactional finance being advantageous. The position is permanent, full-time, and office-based with a salary up to £30,000.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounts or transactional finance is advantageous.
• Strong numeracy and accuracy are essential.
• Organised with excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily bank transactions and record receipts.
• Post receipts/payments to client accounts and ledgers.
• Process electronic payments (BACS/CHAPS) and ensure funds are available.
• Complete daily/monthly bank reconciliations.
• Process supplier invoices and prepare payments.
• Maintain accurate records and supporting documentation.
