Job summary

CoMind Technologies Limited in London is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join a small, hands-on finance team. You’ll manage day-to-day finances, including payables, supplier relationships, cash management and month-end tasks, and own finance tools like Xero, ApprovalMax, Expensify and Dext.

You’ll identify improvements to finance processes, drive automation with AI, and contribute to our growing hardware technology startup as it scales, while ensuring compliance and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience as an accounts assistant, accounts payable assistant or cash management assistant.
• Experience using Xero.
• Nice to have: AAT qualified, or studying.

Responsibilities

• All accounts payable tasks, including invoice coding, preparing weekly payment runs and resolving queries.
• Complete daily bank and debit card reconciliations using Xero.
• Monitor bank accounts and prepare transfers to keep operational accounts sufficiently funded.
• Send a weekly cash status report to senior management.
• Assist with month-end tasks including accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Set up new suppliers and act as the main point of contact for supplier invoice and payment queries.
• Administer finance apps (ApprovalMax, Expensify, Dext) and integrations with Xero.
• Identify and implement improvements to finance processes with automation and AI.
