Qualifications

• Capacité à travailler de manière autonome tout en étant un bon joueur d'équipe.

Responsibilities

• Effectuer la comptabilité quotidienne et les tâches comptables à l'aide de Sage.
• Gérer les entrées de coûts de projet et le traitement des fiches horaires.
• Contribuer aux déclarations de TVA et à la préparation de fin d'année.

Accounts Assistant

Location: Pershore

Salary: GBP30,000 - GBP35,000 per annum (DOE)

Job Type: Full-time, 5 days per week in office

This well-established construction and landscaping company based in the Pershore area has built a strong reputation over the years for high-quality work across commercial and domestic projects.

The current accounts function has been run by a small team with deep knowledge of the business.

As the business evolves, they are looking for a capable, forward-thinking accounts professional to help shape the future of their finance function.

The Role:

This is a varied, hands-on role combining general bookkeeping and credit control responsibilities. It is ideal for someone who thrives in a small team, enjoys improving processes, and wants a role with long-term potential. The successful candidate will support the finance team day-to-day, with the opportunity to step into a more senior role over time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily bookkeeping and accounting duties using Sage
• Chasing outstanding invoices and maintaining strong customer relationships
• Supporting job costing entries and processing timesheets
• Assisting with payroll data and salary preparation
• Reconciling bank accounts, supplier ledgers, and credit card transactions
• Managing accounts payable and receivable functions
• Contributing to VAT returns and year-end preparation
• Helping streamline and modernise current systems and processes

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience in bookkeeping and credit control
• Competent with Sage and a solid understanding of accounting principles
• Able to work independently while being a strong team player
