A leading car dealership group is looking for an Accounts Assistant at their Nottingham location. In this role, you will manage accounting functions and support the Dealership Accountant. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and organized, with necessary accounting experience and skills in cash postings and ledger management.
About The Role
Sytner Nottingham has a fantastic opportunity available for an Accounts Assistant to join their team.
As a Sytner Accounts Assistant, you will support the day-to-day functions of the accounts department, including managing sales and purchase ledgers, daily cash postings, and bank reconciliations. You will also assist the Dealership Accountant and Management team with ad-hoc duties as required.
Sytner Accounts Assistants work a flexible schedule between Mondays and Fridays, which may occasionally include weekends to ensure high levels of customer service.
About You
Previous experience and a good working knowledge of accounting routines, including stock checks and month-end reconciliations, are essential. Knowledge of the CDK/Kerridge Dealer Management system and Microsoft Office is advantageous but not essential.
You should be enthusiastic, well-organised, diligent, and capable of working to strict deadlines while paying attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a small team is important.
