Qualifications

  • Previous accounting experience and knowledge of routines essential.
  • Familiarity with stock checks and month-end reconciliations required.

About the role

Sytner Nottingham has a fantastic opportunity available for an Accounts Assistant to join their team.

As a Sytner Accounts Assistant, you will support the day-to-day functions of the accounts department, including managing sales and purchase ledgers, daily cash postings, and bank reconciliations. You will also assist the Dealership Accountant and Management team with ad-hoc duties as required.

Sytner Accounts Assistants work a variety of flexible patterns between Mondays and Fridays; however, this may sometimes include weekends to ensure we provide our customers with the highest levels of service.

About You

Previous experience and a good working knowledge of accounting routines, including stock checks and month-end reconciliations, are essential. Knowledge of the CDK/Kerridge Dealer Management system and Microsoft Office is advantageous but not essential.

Ideally, you will be enthusiastic, well-organised, diligent, and able to work to strict deadlines while paying attention to detail. You should be comfortable working both independently and as part of a small team.
