Are you an Accounts Assistant looking for a new opportunity in a family run, fun office with the opportunity to manage your own workload within a small team?

A well established, family run business with an office close to Harlow is looking for an Accounts Assistant with 4+ years’ experience to play a key part in managing the day-to-day finances, ranging from Credit Control, Accounts Payable and reconciliations.

Whether you are looking for a role where you can get your teeth stuck in, a role where you can utilise your skillset in a business you love working for OR someone looking for a local role… this could be for you!

Responsibilities
  • Perform daily reconciliations of the bank, supplier statements and credit card’s
  • Liaising with customers, clients & suppliers
  • Chasing aged debt via phone, letter & email
  • Setting up new Subcontractors/Verifying status with HMRC
Requirements
  • Experienced in Sage line 50
  • Self-motivated and able to use own initiative to solve problems
  • Be a team-player as well as having the initiative to work productively alone
  • Ability to prioritise and be well organised
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Good communications skills with customers, clients and other members of staff
