Job description

Accounts Assistant

Location: Fairford, Wiltshire
Salary: GBP13.26 Per Hour

Our long-standing client in Fairford is seeking a part-time Finance Assistant to join their team.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  1. Support finance operations
  2. Generate weekly sales reports to monitor company performance
  3. Manage external supplier invoices via DocuSign and Sage Intacct, ensuring compliance with approval limits
  4. Create ad-hoc reports for various departments
  5. Maintain accurate purchase ledger records using Sage Intacct
  6. Raise client sales invoices
  7. Maintain sales ledger records
  8. Assist in preparing monthly management accounts
  9. Manage and review client accounts monthly
  10. Generate and review debtors reports, monitor balances, and follow up on overdue accounts
  11. Assist the finance manager
Ideal Candidate:
  1. Experience working with Sage
  2. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  3. Strong attention to detail
  4. Good mathematical skills and ability to identify discrepancies
  5. Ability to meet tight deadlines
Working Hours:
  • Starting at 09:00
  • Flexible working days
  • Three days a week
