Job Description
As a Manager, you will have day-to-day responsibility for a varied portfolio of Private Equity clients and have the following responsibilities:
- Use your experience, excellent organizational skills, sound judgment, and strong personal character to meet client requirements and ensure team performance and growth. Your team will benefit from your good listening skills, tailored coaching, and planning.
- Act as a central point of contact for clients, capable of identifying and anticipating potential problem areas, accurately measuring risks, and offering suitable solutions to satisfy client needs. Guarantee operational aspects of the account, including client invoicing, and be responsible for financial monitoring of the client portfolio.
- Manage relationships with other service providers such as auditors, law firms, custodians, and prime brokers.
- Oversee the production of client reports and the checking of Fund NAV reports.
- Coordinate and validate all work delivered by the team, assist in designing systems and processes to meet client needs.
- Lead internal fund projects and collaborate with fund administration IT systems to provide fund servicing solutions.
Your Profile- Fully qualified (e.g., ACA, ACCA).
- 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in Fund Accounting, including NAV calculation, transfer agent and investor servicing, and tax compliance.
- Experience with UK GAAP and IFRS accounting standards.
- High level of experience with consolidation, IFRS / FRS accounting, and financial statement preparation.
- Experience with fund administration IT systems.
- Ability to act on initiative and lead a team of fund administration professionals.
