Mercedes AMG High Performance Powertrains in Brixworth, United Kingdom, is seeking a Level 3 Accounting Apprentice for a 2-year internship. You will support month-end close, cashflow reporting, fixed asset maintenance, and AR processes while learning UK GAAP and FIA Financial Regulations.

Qualifications

• Maths GCSE level 5 or above.

Responsibilities

• Month end close, including Balance Sheet reconciliations, journal postings and consolidating approval pack.
• Assistance in processing daily banking and cashflow reporting.
• Fixed asset maintenance including capitalisation, disposals and verification.
• Accounts Receivable: raising on sales orders, chasing overdue debt and analysis.
• Assistance in preparation of Inventory adjustment documents and annual stock counts.
• Preparation of monthly KPI reports and dashboards for the wider Finance team.
• Assisting the Company Accountant with preparation of data for External Audit and Ad hoc analysis.
