Position Overview

This role reports to the Accounting Manager and is based in Kannapolis, NC. The Accounting Analyst is vital for daily finance operations, ensuring best practices in accounts payable, receivable, treasury, and general ledger transactions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Teamwork and Communication: Promote effective communication and relationships across departments.
2. Accounts Payable: Manage vendor setup, invoice processing, query resolution, statement reconciliation, and payments.
3. Accounts Receivable: Handle customer setup, invoicing, query resolution, statements, and collections.
4. Treasury: Oversee banking payments, record entries, reconcile bank statements, and manage ledger entries for month-end reporting.
5. Additional Duties: Support credit card and expense reporting, assist with ERP upgrades, prepare audit documentation, and ensure safety regulations compliance.

Qualifications

Preferred candidates will have a college degree in Accounting and at least 3 years of relevant experience.

Skills and Knowledge

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel; experience with MS D365 is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude and willingness to assist others.

Work Environment

The role requires working in a high-pressure environment, with occasional travel. Physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds, manual dexterity, and working around machinery and hazardous materials, all in compliance with safety policies.
