2025 marks the tenth season of MoneyGram Haas F1 Team in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship. We are a pioneering team, the first American F1 team since 1986, with a history of immediate impact and continuous growth, including our second-best season to date.

Position Overview

This role reports to the Accounting Manager and is based in Kannapolis, NC. The Accounting Analyst is vital in managing daily finance operations, including accounts payable, receivable, treasury, and general ledger transactions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Promote teamwork and effective communication across departments.
2. Lead accounts payable processes: vendor setup, invoice processing, resolving queries, statement reconciliations, and payments.
3. Prepare mid-month and end-of-month payment proposals.
4. Manage accounts receivable: customer setup, invoicing, resolving queries, statements, and collections.
5. Administer banking payments and record bank entries in ERP.
6. Reconcile bank statements and manage general ledger entries for month-end reporting.
7. Support credit card and expense reporting, ERP upgrades, and audit documentation.
8. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Preferably a college degree in Accounting with 3 years of relevant experience.

Skills and Knowledge

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Understanding of accounting processes and ERP systems like Microsoft D365 (preferred).
• Ability to work under pressure, in a team, and with a positive attitude.

Additional Requirements

Must be able to work in a high-pressure environment, occasionally travel domestically and internationally, and work flexible hours including weekends. Physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds and manual dexterity. The work environment involves machinery, race cars, and hazardous materials, requiring adherence to health and safety policies.
