Job summary

Worldpay in Manchester is seeking an Accountant II to join the Scheme Reconciliations team. You will own reconciliations for NAP, Platform and WPAP, validate journals and prepare complex entries, and drive accurate reporting.

You’ll analyse queries, collaborate with multiple business areas, and manage priorities to meet SLAs and KPIs. The role requires attention to detail, strong Excel skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced payments environment.

Qualifications

• Previous reconciliations experience.
• Confident communicating at all levels – proactive must have the confidence to approach other business areas for information needed.
• Analysis skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• NAP, Platform and WPAP reconciliations.
• Journal validation and approval of simple journals; preparation of complex journals.
• Complex query investigation and resolution.
• Producing reporting and MI to analyse and drive team performance.
• Prioritise workload effectively throughout the day to ensure the team meets all SLA’s and KPI’s.
