Job summary

Global Payments Inc. in the United Kingdom is seeking an Accountant II to join the Scheme Reconciliations team. You will own reconciliations, validate journals, and prepare complex journals while investigating complex queries and delivering MI to drive team performance.

The role emphasises accuracy, multi-priority management, and independent work with strong MS Excel skills to support daily SLA and KPI targets.

What you’ll own as the Accountant II

• NAP, Platform and WPAP reconciliations
• Journal validation and approval of simple journals, preparation of complex journals
• Complex query investigation, resolution,
• Producing reporting and MI to analyse and drive team performance
• Prioritise workload effectively throughout the day to ensure the team meets all SLA’s and KPI’s

What You’ll Bring

• Previous Reconciliations experience
• Confident communicating at all levels – pro-active must have the confidence to approach other business areas for information needed.
• Analysis skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
