The Peninsula London - Accountant - Accounts Payable

The Peninsula London is looking for a Accountant - Accounts Payable to join our Finance Team. This role is key to developing an effective, paperless Accounts Payable function using next-generation systems, positioning The Peninsula London and its Finance Team as leaders in hospitality.

Key Accountabilities

• Manage all aspects of accounts payable, including invoice reconciliation against purchase orders and received items, and monthly accruals
• Assist Finance Leadership to ensure compliance with policies and procedures
• Cross-train with other Accountants to ensure coverage during absences
• Support month-end processes, including financial statements and balance sheet reconciliations
• Contribute to tasks that promote the property's goals, compliance, and efficiency

General Requirements

• 1-2 years of accounting experience in a hospitality or residential environment
• Understanding of various accounting functions, with extensive experience in Accounts Payable managing complex tax and contractual environments
• High integrity, detail orientation, strong organizational and negotiation skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
