Summary

A brand new position has opened up for an Account to join a family-owned industrial solutions provider in Manchester on a permanent basis. The office is located just outside of Manchester, with accessible transport links.

This is a great opportunity to step into a key role within a focused team of individuals. You will be tasked to support your senior team members with day-to-day financial and administrative responsibilities.

They are looking for an individual who is ready to lend their expertise to the business, progress alongside them, and play a crucial role in ensuring seamless communication with clients.

You will be joining a team of diverse and talented team of passionate people who truly care about the work they do. They provide technical support to businesses throughout their full distribution journey: from the design stage, to aftersales, and long-term guidance. As a business, they have gone from strength to strength with an impressive book of clients across the UK and Ireland.

The Role

We are looking for a talented individual with expert literacy and numeracy skills, a natural communicator, and someone who is ready to progress and succeed alongside this thriving company.

• Manage accounting transactions
• Ensure timely payments from clients
• Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
• Manage balance sheets
• Audit financial transactions and documents
• Ensure data is confidential
• Regularly communicate with clients to build positive and productive relationships
• Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
• Knowledge of GAAP
• Experience with accounting software
• Advanced Excel skills
• CPA or CMA certifications are a bonus!
